Mindfulness is proven to ease PTSD in veterans.

One of the challenges that Veterans face in coming back home is dealing with the pressures of daily life. It can feel isolating and scary, and at worst - increase possibility of suicidal thoughts. However, there is hope through mindfulness! A 2016 study showed that mindfulness and meditation enhances connections between brain regions, shifting away negative thoughts.
